the fruit question

If i were to be fruit i would be a durian. if somebody tried to rip open my hard outercovering to eat me, i could attack that person's face and possibly cause some disfiguration. Unfortunately, durians do not have brains and they CANNOT move by themselves.

Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.

It means that if you have good manners, you will have better opportunities than when you have a really good education. For example, Person A is really smart and Person B is not that smart. Person A is rude and Person B has good manners. The phrase means that Person B has more opportunities than Person A, such as, at jobs. I do not think that the phrase is true because, who gets a better job when you are not educated than when you are educated?

The title should be 'reflection on this blog idea'. I feel that the idea of this blog was really not necessary. Why is it that instead of writing in an exercise book, we are doing this blog as a journal like this title says(look at the top).

The post on the NE show

In my opinion the NE show was much more interesting than what i thought it would be. The shows were interesting. The bag which was given was a reasonably okay looking bag. The contents of the bag were exceptional. The dinner was a piece of meat inside a burger and mash potatoes. The most exciting part of the show was at the end when it started to rain and there was a huge flood. There was a waterfall at the staircases. While 'wading' in the water many valuables were seen floating in the water. It was an unforgettable experience. Also, i do not know how to upload the photos.

Whether i would have liked to live in ancient Greece as a male

The reason there was another post that had a similar title to this is because i was typing and i hit 'enter' which i thought would bring me down to this box, but it just published the post.

Yes i would have liked to be a male in ancient Greece because i would be able to do everything a female could not do without breaking the law. I would be able to have a house, vote and be a citizen.

My favourite board game
is 'Pictionary'. In the board game you roll a die and move your counter to the colour of the part of the board. You then pick a card from the deck and look at the colour on the card which your counter is on. you must draw the picture for your team to guess.

My favourite day
is friday because it is the day before the weekends.

My favourite animal
Hey that's not a creative subject! Ihave 7 subjects to think about. My favourite animal is the chimaera. It is a sea animal related to sharks. The reason it is my favourite animal is because for defense, it has a venomous located infront of the dorsal fin.

My favourite book
is 'The curious case of the dog in the night time'. It is about a 15 year old Christopher John Francis Boone who find s his neighbour's dog impaled with a pitchfork. He tries to figure out who killed it and along the journey finds out other things as well.

I have decided to stop and continue another day.

Is certainly not doing this blog. Instead since i don't use the computer for anything else but the blog and homework, it has to be doing homework. i know what you are thinking. What kind of mad person likes doing homework. Well, i'm just following the title. Who has time to think of seven blog titles? Not me.

The real second post for this month.

If you are wondering why i put a 'second post for this month' on the starting page thing, here's your answer. I was typing 'second post for this month' when all of a sudden, my hand slipped out of place and "Boom!" it hit the 'enter' button. My cries for mercy were ignored and a title was placed there, ' second post for this month'. Now that i have explained how it got there i can type what i was meant to type. Since i do not really know what to type about, I shall start with the chronicles of the ' My favourite......'. I will be using this 'My favourite......' for the entire June holidays.

My favourite calculator
I know what you are thinking, ''Who on earth has a favourite calculator?" Well, i was running short of ideas so the only idea i had was to put 'My favourite calculator'. Most of you already know the answer. The scientific calculator that everybody has in their school bag. Yes, the one you are all thinking about now. The reason it is my favourite calculator is because firstly it is the only one i have and lastly because it has so many weird options. This is a really long post.

My favourite place on earth is the living room. "Why the living room?" you ask. The reason the living room is my favourite place on earth is because that's the place i spend most of my time at.
"But so what if you spend all your time there?"you ask. Well, the living room is the designated area for people like me to laze around. "But still, why is it so special?" you ask. Well, i don't have that much time to answer all your questions now do i?

Post on: creativity being inborn or not

Creativity is inborn. How do i know that? I don't. How on earth are you supposed to learn creativity? You can't. Why do i say that creativity is inborn? Well, Have you noticed that most famous painters have had a childhood in which they were already fantastic at that time. If you have, good. The reason this post is so short is because i do not know much about creativity and whether it is inborn or not.

During the holiday, i did not do anything much besides the project and homework( and yes on your blog i know that you put 'do not put your homework and projects'.) The one i did most was playing the xbox. It was great having countless hours on the xbox. I also read a book which i do everyday. On this post i do not have much to say except what i just said because i did not do anything during the holiday besides what i just said.Really.

My dreams/wishes are:

1. Get a reasonable job that will give a reasonable amount of money

2. avoid becoming a couch potato

3. Buy a reasonable house that has reasonable features

4. Become a millionare eventhough I have a normal job that gives normal sums of money.

5. Avoid getting corrupted into tricking people out of their money

can you love an object more than your family?

The answer is both yes and no.
If you are one of those of those mad guys who love their xboxes more than their family then, i suggest you visit a doctor. A family is a once in a life time thing. On the other hand, the xbox is a piece of complicated metal that is really fun. You can rely on your family if you are in trouble, but if you only had the xbox, prepare to be staring at a metal that blinks light. You should cherish your family who will always be by your side other than a piece of really fun metal.

1. I feel that students are more stressed because there are now more assessment books, exam papers, the need for competing against one another, newer syllables, new discoveries which are then put into the assessment books for students to do which turn out to be harder because the new discovery has not been discovered in the past for students to do.

2. For me the p5 camp was not exactly a very fun activity. During the p5 camp, i had to endure people in my a-hut flashing their torch lights at my face at 1 am, hordes of mosquitoes, adults barking at me for no apparent reason and many others. One of the most horrible things at the camp was a trainer(i am not stating the name because i don't know the person's name) who smacked me on the head just because i dropped my carribena(the hook which you can tighten). I am not even sure whether you can do that in Singapore. I know i am overreacting over one smack, but i still hold a grudge.

3. My hobbies are playing squash, badminton, video games, watching the television and reading books. The hobby that i do the most(in terms of the number of hours) is watching television. Second, watching the television. Third, playing badminton. Fourth, playing video games and last but not least playing squash.

4.For the new year, i went to many people's houses who i did not even know and ended up playing catching and card games there with cousins i knew and ate many tidbits. I received a generous amount of money. Overall the new year was fantastic.

The first journal entry

Ms Chua, Mrs Tay whichever, if you are wondering why this account has no journal entry post, it's because i forgot my password so i created another account which somehow i forgot the password again so i created another account and did the 'stressed journal. But, it just so happens that i was trying to get into my account i falsely accused of being hacked(this one) and i remembered the password and i got in.There you have it. So do i do the 'stressed students' journal? wait. I don't even know if you're reading this or not. ehhhh. Okay i will do it here.
